BON VOYAGE CAMI !!!!!!
My beautiful friend Cami is leaving Australia tomorrow to live in Paris, how exciting is that !!!!
So I thought I would show her some of my favorite things to do in one of my most loved cities.
People watching would have to be one of the best things to do in Paris, so wonderful!!!
The "Picasso museum" in the Marais is a must see.
Must buy fresh flowers in Paris ........
"Shakespeare and Co" is my favorite bookstore, you could spend the whole day there.
This is the street where we had our apartment..... "no.26 Rue Des Rosiers" in the Marais district.
So Cami you must stroll past no.26 and think of us.
It is such a vibrant and interesting area, great cafes, bars, galleries and a great mix of people..... my favorite place in Paris.
Climb the stairs of the "Arc de Triomphe" for a great veiw of Paris.
Promise to go to "Merci"..... it had not opened when I was there, but I have it on very good authority that it is amazing !!!!

Merci cafe.
Visit Serge Gainsbourg's house ..... just because !!!!
The "Le Centre Pompidou" has the most amazing collection of modern art in Paris and the views from the top are amazing.

Take a morning walk (or in your case Cami, a jog) along the "Seine" before the sun rises..... so quite and beautiful.

"Place des Vosges" is such a lovely place to stroll or just sit in the park near the fountain and take it all in.....
We will miss you XXXXX
PS.... I will think of you when I have my morning toast and french jam ......
Au revoir lovely girl !!!!

BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS

Books and bookshelves are one of my all time favorite looks. I'm always drawn to interiors that have wonderful books in them.
These "Ptolomeo" vertical bookshelves would have to be one of my all time favorite designs.
